What mediums and materials do you use?
I paint solely with oil paint.
Some pieces are created on thick, handmade 100% cotton rag paper—carefully primed for durability.
Others are painted on primed wood panels. Each listing will note the specific surface used.
Do you offer prints and originals?
At this time, I only sell originals.
Do you take commissions?
I love painting freely and playing with new ideas. Because of this, I don't take commissions.
How often do you release new work?
I release new pieces as they come together naturally, rather than on a set schedule. Some may be released individually, while others may be part of a larger collection. The best way to know when new pieces are available is to follow along on Instagram, @KatieBlytheCollection, where I share updates on upcoming releases.
Will my painting come framed?
I’m now adding framed pieces to the shop. Some frames will be genuine antiques over 100 years old, some vintage treasures, and some newly made. Every pairing is intentional, chosen to bring out the feeling of the piece. Details and frame information will be included in each individual listing. Some pieces may still be sold without a frame. Please read each listing carefully.

The frames I use are sourced from various antique and vintage sellers. Their dates are estimated from the information provided by each source and from my own research.
Do you varnish the paintings?
Each oil painting is intentionally left unvarnished to allow it to fully dry and develop its natural character. While your painting will arrive dry to the touch, oil paintings can take 6-12 months to fully cure. Once cured, you have the option to apply a varnish. Varnish adds a protective layer, helping to enhance and preserve the vibrancy of the colors. However, varnishing is not required—your painting will remain beautiful without it and continue to develop its natural charm over time. The choice is entirely yours.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship worldwide. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and location. All orders include tracking and insurance. Please note that international customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes applicable in their country.
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final. Please be sure to review the details carefully before purchasing. Thank you for understanding and valuing the time, energy, and love that goes into each piece.
